Fantastic onsen with multiple pools plus a cute mountain view from my spacious room! The buffet dinner was an absolute dream-lovely variety!
The pillows felt like firm little bricks-who needs neck support anyway? The sloped path to the hotel could send your luggage flying!

The Yuzawa Grand Hotel has beautifully maintained traditional Japanese decor, with spacious common areas providing plenty of seating. Its accessibility for seniors is commendable, with ramps and clear pathways throughout the hotel, making it easy to navigate.
More seating options in common areas would be helpful.

The onsen facilities were well-maintained and relaxing, though the
food options at dinner left something to be desired. I appreciated the variety at breakfast, especially the freshly baked items. The location was superb, but it was a bit noisy at times due to nearby foot traffic.

great stay but minor noise issues
The hotel is a gem with its cozy vibe, reminiscent of a large ryokan. The onsen facilities are exceptionally well maintained with a variety of baths, including an inviting cold one. The dining experience was top-notch, offering a wide selection of high-quality food. The view of the surrounding mountains from the dining area added a special touch to our meals.
We encountered some noise from the hallway that disrupted our sleep.
